Muslin and reproduction wallpaper for the Josephus W. Hall House

Dr. Josephus Hall House was the first acquisition of the Foundation in 1972. Built in 1820, the handsome house is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is located in the heart of Salisbury's historic district. This house was home to generations of the Hall family. Furnished with the Hall's china, silver and furniture, the house casts a magical spell over visitors. The Foundation bought the house and its furnishings and has maintained and opened the site as a house museum. The interior walls were constructed of horizonal planks.
