Bolling Eldridge House
Before restoration
and after
restoration

Lynchburg, Virginia

The story behind the Bolling Eldridge is amazing. Because of it's exquisite millwork it had been on the National and Virginia Historic Registry but had fallen in ruins, with only the tin roof saving its interior beauty. Luckily, its was purchased by Robert and
Stephanie Sullivan of Lynchburg, VA, dismantled and moved from Halifax County, VA, then reassembled piece by piece in Lynchburg. Rooms receiving wallpaper include the parlor, dining room, library, front hall, master bedroom and a guest bedroom. The entire installation consisted of four five-day trips. For a complete history of this amazing house and the people who resided there go to the
Bolling Eldridge History.
